The only thing I wanted to capture was the loneliness.
I detached myself from the others and fell behind.
They did not notice.
The way these dunes could be moors.
I let my hand sweep over the fallen grass.
And smelled heather.
I bent down and pushed my fingers into the deep sand.
And found soft peat.
I realized I could no longer see or hear my friends.
So I took this photo and hurried to catch up.
